Diversity Statement
The Darden College of Education & Professional Studies is dedicated to engaging in intentional and ongoing efforts to create a culturally sustaining climate that is committed to equity, inclusivity, and diversity. We are devoted to fostering a diverse community of faculty, staff, and students in uncovering and addressing systemic barriers, promoting an inclusive and equitable community, and supporting social justice in our programs and in the professional disciplines for which we prepare our students. Such dedication includes aligning our efforts with the university's strategic plan, evaluating our progress and adjusting our efforts to meet our evolving goals.
The Darden College of Education & Professional Studies strives to build a culture of inclusivity which helps our faculty and students thrive in scholarship, knowledge generation and community engagement. We believe these efforts will assist our university in meeting the needs of a rapidly changing world and our success depends upon the robust exchange of ideas across cultures.

Each podcast episode, we'll explore topics such as Critical Race Theory and Inclusive education practices for BIPOC individuals, challenged books, and creating safe spaces for those identifying as LGBTQIA+.

The ALLIED Committee
The All Inclusive for Equity & Diversity (ALLIED) Committee is focused on identifying structural and other inequities and advocating for strategic and culturally sustaining change while promoting cultural and linguistic dexterity for faculty, staff, and students within the Darden College of Education & Professional Studies.

Southern Regional Education Board (SREB)
We work with states to improve education. We provide policymakers reliable data to inform sound policies. We help states collaborate to share resources. And we serve educators with training that transforms teaching to prepare students for what comes next.
Staff
The Darden College of Education and Professional Studies is profoundly dedicated to the accomplishment of each individual from the Monarch community. The entirety of our faculty, staff and students, at each position and level, is an essential aspect of the Monarch community and contributes to the success of 香港六合彩资料 and the college.
Staff Professional Development Fund (SPDF)
The Darden College encourages the development of employee job skills. We completely support our administrative professionals in their pursuit to advancing individual strengths and collective contributions. Our staff are essential to the success, transformation, and sustainability of the college. To fulfill our stance, the SPDF has been created as an effort to encourage workplace excellence through continuous learning, training, and development. The fund is designed to provide classified staff with funding for professional development directly related to their job responsibilities with the intention of enhancing job performance.
To apply, please submit the fund application to your Department Chair/Director of your unit. Once reviewed and approved, the approval and signed documents will be forwarded to Dr. Lamar Reams. You will receive an email with the approval/denial/request for additional information.
