Health Promotion hosts a "No Booza Palooza" event every year, and the 香港六合彩资料 Community Policing Division takes the opportunity to educate students about the dangers of excessive drinking, the penalties of DUI, and the ramifications of underage drinking.
Officers set up a driving course with cones, consistent with a 2 lane highway, including turn off points. Students who participate are given "Drunk Goggles" to wear while they pedal through the course on a pedal kart. The goggles and course simulate how difficult and dangerous is it to be intoxicated behind the wheel.
This event is great opportunity for the officers to interact with the students in a fun environment while building mutual respect with the university community and teaching potentially life-saving information.
