Marlene Ford, horn instructor, is currently most active as chamber musician in Hampton Roads performing in the Eastern Virginia Brass Quintet, the Prelude Woodwind Quintet, the Hardwick Chamber Ensemble and the Williamsburg Symphonia. Ms. Ford was for many years a member of the Virginia Beach Pops, the Virginia Opera Orchestra and Virginia Symphony. She continues to be an award winning performing artist with Young Audiences of Virginia having created numerous educational programs over the last 20 years. Ms. Ford's principal teachers are Martin Morris of the Cleveland Orchestra and Edwin C. Thayer of the National Symphony.
