About this Program

Upgrade your skills in the areas of policy analysis and public management, by developing analytical and management knowledge and capabilities. The core three courses in this certificate cover administrative theory, ethics, public policy and evaluation. You'll choose an elective for the fourth course, from topics such as leadership, collaboration, public-private partnerships, human services administration, negotiation and dispute resolution, and financial management.

Students entering the Certificate program in Public Administration & Policy should meet the minimum university admission requirements Graduate Admission.

Certificate applicants enroll as Non-Degree Graduate Students thru the Office of Graduate Admissions. Please visit the Office of Graduate Admissions website. Please note that this certificate program is not applicable to degree-seeking MPA students.
