My research has involved immunology, viral infectious disease and bioelectrics. Specifically, I investigated aging-related NK cell alterations in response to influenza infection and vaccination, with a particular interest on the upstream and downstream regulatory components including pDCs, monocytes, and Th1. I also examined NKT cells, deciphering their subtypes and corresponding cytokine production in the context of aging. Furthermore, I studied gastroenteritis pathogens noroviruses and sapoviruses, exploring their seroprevalence, genetic classification and natural history of infection. I am currently managing and supervising the interdisciplinary core lab at the 香港六合彩资料 BCET Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics (FRRCBE), providing need-based instrumentation and scientific support for faculty and students at 香港六合彩资料, neighboring institutions, and other research organizations in Hampton Roads. While managing the core lab, I participate in research in the interdisciplinary area of pulsed electric fields (PEF) and biomedical science as working scheme fits.
